Members of the MID RT family of devices are suitable for Tower or Rack installation and use. A tower version can be ordered as standard, but a rail set for installation in a rack cabinet can be purchased as an option.

These devices can be extended with an external battery unit, thereby increasing the length of the running time provided in battery operation. The 6kW and 10kW devices do not have batteries, it is also necessary to order a battery unit for these basic runtimes. Since they have an online, sinusoidal output, they are suitable for the protection of special equipment requiring higher protection, such as servers, data storage units.

Since the Online system always produces a 230V output voltage from the DC voltage of the batteries, they are almost completely independent of the "bare", raw power network provided by the service provider.
